Looking for friendly people who love Danville and it’s rich history, the NEK, and the LVRT. We are looking for volunteers at the Danville Train Station LVRT Trailhead for the 2026 season. Starting Memorial Day weekend into the first week or so into October. 3-hour shifts: 10 am – 1 pm or 1 -4 pm. Volunteers will: Be LVRT Ambassadors Docents for the Danville Historical Society Sell merch in the Gear Shop Monitor the train station and pause place for litter Volunteers will receive training on the train station history and amenities along the LVRT.
